when can I start shopping ??

I find out what I have October 3rd and I'll be 20weeks .. Would I jinks myself by shopping right away ???

You can start shopping whenever you want to! I've confined myself to a little bit of yardsaling (a brand new front baby carrier for $5 still in the box, that's listed on Amazon for like $75, I think my SO said), and putting together my registry. Mostly because I'm afraid if I shop too much I'll get a lot of the same things given to me and then still have to buy the other stuff anyway. Between two sets of excited grandparents and a lot of friends that specifically save everything to pass on to the next mother, I'm a little worried about having enough storage...

I am 15 weeks today and will find out the gender at the end of October. I have been doing some research on everything though and plan to get a number of things during Black Friday! (When hopefully there will be some great deals.) I will have my registry done before Black Friday as well in case family/friends want to take advantage of any deals too.

I started shopping way before I found out what I was having. The most expensive thing for me which was the stroller had to start being payed for as soon as I was 12 weeks in order for it to be payed off and delivered in time for when he's born. So in my case I couldn't really think about the waiting until after 20 weeks thing. since I found out I'm having a boy I've been buying his clothes. I just can't think about the 'what if' stuff. I say start shopping whenever you feel like it
