What was the most helpful item you used after giving birth?

I am a FTM at 19 and expecting a baby boy November 21st. I am just curious about what got other moms thru their recoveries 🤔

I had a c-section but it don't know if it matters for mine- it was the boppy. Feeling like a cow and sore and tired I loved having my baby closer up to my face where it was more comfortable to just stare at her 24/7.

Dermoplast, witch hazel pads, peri bottle, comfy maxi pads and stool softener. Oh and a gel pack that I kept in the freezer and wedged *up in there* when I got particularly sore or swollen.

Dermoblast if you have a csection. Your also going to need the bottle thing to clean your vagina when you are still in the hospital

Padsicles! Whenever the pain got unbearable I'd pop one onto my granny panty with some tuck pads on top and get some relief. But it was really time that made it better. Relief only lasted a min or two.

Depends- so much better than giant pads! Advil. Mama strut brace is amazing (check Amazon), the ice pack pocket and perineal support straps are lifesaving. And lots and lots of help.
