When to tell my family...?

So I'll be 5 weeks on Christmas, and I don't know if we should tell my family that day or wait until I'm 12 weeks. Some advice please and also would like to know when everyone else told their family, thanks!

It's just s personal choice. Even though I had a miscarriage last time and I had to go around and tell everyone I told that I was no longer pregnant I am going to tell people this time too. With my work and everything it makes sense for me to. I just hope it has a different ending this time.

My family ruined my last pregnancy. I had a great time up until 20 weeks when we told folks. Then they told people even when we asked them not to and make things really hard for us.

This time we are waiting as long as possible.

I'll be 7 wks exactly on Xmas and we are telling immediate family. I'd need their support if something went wrong. Plus Christmas is the best time to tell!
