traumatized giving birth? please help!

Anyone else have a traumatizing birth experience? And I mean all levels, too painful, near death.. etc.. 
My baby's cord was wrapped around his neck three times and had a knot in it. He's perfect and healthy, thankfully. But with that experience along with the pain, I feel completely traumatized. I really want another baby in the future but right now I just can't see myself giving birth vaginally again.. I've had nightmares about it at least three separate nights and it's really stressful..
How did you work through your trauma in order to have another baby??

kept telling myself not every pregnancy is the same... Which they are not.
My first was a 38 hr labor. My water broke at home; I had no meds or epi the whole time. He got stuck in my canal, they had to give me a 4th degree cut to get him out, I pushed for 2 1/2 hrs, I had so many stitches I lost count. I was in the hospital for 7 days not including the 2 day's I was in labor. I didn't heal till 5 month PP and the bleeding didn't stop till 6 months PP.

My second which was in may, I was induced; when it came time to push I started shaking so bad it felt like I was have a panic attack, I started sweating but I felt so cold. My hand's were clammy my eyes were rolling into the back of my head I couldn't stop; I pushed for 20 min and she was out. Not as bad as the first but definitely scary 9 hr labor total. Didn't need stitches, didn't even tear. Was in the hospital for 2 day's, healed by 2 weeks pp stopped bleeding at 3 weeks pp and next year we will start trying for number 3.

I had an awful birth with my youngest. Started out by going into pre-term labor at 35 weeks and being told that he probably wouldn't survive if he was born that early. They stopped the labor with shots that I ended up being allergic too. My heart rate and his shot up to over 200. Was put on bed rest til 38 weeks when he was delivered via c-section. The section took 20 extra minutes due to scar tissue from my first pregnancy. Was sent to recovery where the spinal block wore off way to quickly and I was in excruciating pain that was hard to get back under control. Had to have 2 blood transfusions due to blood loss during c-section. Was in the hospital for 5 days. Was sent home with 16 staples still in my stomach. I am currently pregnant with baby #3 and I am terrified!!

I shut down, closed my eyes, put my arms across my chest and trembled for two hours before they called a csection... because my daughter was sideways.

I haven't gone through labor yet but I am TERRIFIED of having a c-section because I have never been in surgery, but also because my sister in law had her baby via emergency c section last December. They didn't wait long enough for the numbing to take effect and she felt the whole slice. Then she started going into distress and they were like we can't wait any longer we have to get the baby out, so they put her out. She says she literally thought she was gonna die. I know that it doesn't happen often and c sections are pretty routine, but I'm terrified of something like that happening to me.
