lets talk sleep paralysis

Okay so I've known for a while (a little over a year) that I suffer from sleep paralysis occassionally.
What is it? It's a sleeping disorder that occurs either when you're falling asleep or waking up and your body is paralyzed but your mind is awake. It may be occompanied with visual and auditory hallucinations.
I remember most of my experiences with sleep paralysis. And they are all terrifying. Every time I tell someone about it because I'm scared, they just don't seem to understand.
Some examples...
1. I felt myself waking up and my vision was super fuzzy and I couldn't open my eyes all the way. Then I realized I couldn't move. I immediately thought, "Oh no, not again." I would try to roll over but I was frozen in place. Every time I tried to move, it felt almost as if my soul would detach from my body.
2. Woke up and couldn't open my eyes all the way. I had fallen asleep with on my back with my arm over my eyes and my legs wide apart looking really indecent. I felt the presence of a man in my room. Panicked, I tried to get up and not look as indecent but I couldn't! I felt him walking closer and bending down to look under my arm and into my eyes. I couldn't talk either. Terrifying...
3. Sleep paralysis again... Woke up in my dorm PANICKED AF. Someone was lying on top of me hugging me, holding me down. Couldn't push her off, couldn't scream for help. But at this point I'm experienced so I know that even though it feels so real, it's a hallucination. I relax and slowly try to put strength in my fingers and limbs... Was able to move eventually but not sure how soon.
