Hemorrhoid issues

Im not sure if I have a hemorrhoid, but here is the deal. I had hard stool that hurt when passing. The next day there was blood on the toilet paper and I was very sore. Yesterday, no blood but also no stool passed. Today, lots of blood. Even when passing gas and wiping there was blood.

Im calling my doctor tomorrow, but figured Id ask, with an inflamed hemorrhoid or anal fissure can it bleed even without passing stool? And can it be so swollen it that I can feel it less than an inch from my anus?

I am an anxiety freak and worry about everything. First thing my mind always leads to is cancer.
