HPV and Pap Smears

So I had my first Pap smear and I got the results today.. the results were abnormal, specifically moderate dysplasia. Has anyone ever been through this before? I have my follow-up in a month for a colposcopy and possible biopsy, and hopefully a cryosurgery to freeze off the abnormal cells. I'm wondering if this problem may recur or affect fertility? My boyfriend has been my boyfriend for 2 years now (and we plan on getting married within 2 years) and we knew about the HPV awhile ago because I developed a wart shortly after he and I began having sex/dating. I definitely don't want cancer and I definitely don't want this to be a recurring problem! Thanks in advance ladies.
