FTM Unplanned Csection

On the morning of the 25th I woke up with contractions about 6 mins apart for an hour and then I had a gush of fluid. We went to L&D where they checked and said my water had broken and I was definitely in active labor. I have genital herpes and despite taking the medication starting at 34 weeks, I still got a breakout. I was told that I would be having a CSection in 1 hour. My husband got to the hospital right before we went in for the csection. At 8:25am my little 6lb 12oz baby boy was born. I was up and about the day after and even got in the shower. We were in the hospital for 3 nights. Both baby Ezekiel and I are home and doing great. I am so proud to be his Mommy. To all the moms who are still waiting on your babies, I promise everyone who has told you it is worth the wait is not lying. ❤ (belly pic is 2 days postpartum)
