Birth control shot and sex drive?

About a month ago I got a birth control shot and since than I have had zero sex drive. My boyfriend has always had a low sex drive and mine has always been really high. But since the shot we haven't had sex which usually would be awful but now it doesn't bother me at all. Has anyone else experienced a lower sex drive with the birth control shot?
