Hi mommas! My fiancé and I have a question! Please be nice as we are just trying to get some honest opinions/experiences so we can make an informed decision. We are looking at clothe diapers as an option for our baby girl (due in 3 months). My fiancé has 2 daughters who both used standard diapers, but I am curious about the clothe diapering option and he's open to try/ at least research it. At this point I really don't know much at all lol. What are some advantages and disadvantages of clothe diapers vs standard? What do you need for a clothe diaper? I keep seeing the words "clothe diapering SYSTEM" which suggests to me that there are several layers needed, but I've no idea what those are. Would you say clothe diapers can be a money saver or are standards actually cheaper...etc. I'm curious about these sort of things. So any mommas out there who can give me some insight, or even share their experiences with clothe diapers, all would be appreciated!
