IUD Experience

I've had the pill, the shot, the ring and now this. I'm in my senior year of high school and I wanted something that wouldn't affect my daily schedule by happening to go to the doctor constantly. So I got my Skyla iud this morning at around 9am. Let me tell you it's not the most pleasant feeling. Just a lot of pressure. It took all but 5 minutes. Afterwards I was fine. I was walking around and everything was good. But 2 hours later the cramps came on😢. It felt like I was in labor. But, overall with some ibuprofen and a hot bubble bath you'll be good. Don't knock the iud out of your list of options because everyone else had bad experiences. Every body is built differently.
