Please advice!!! Im scared!

I twisted my anckle yesterday and my mum applied heat cream on the area and then wrapped it with a bandage. After an hour i couldnt step on it so i went to hospital they said see how it goes and if i cant step on it or it gets worse come back. I can step on it i have been walking today but have this on my leg. I have been thinking that its only a rash from the heat cream but tonight i have been reading about blood clots and im really scared that this may be a blood clot. Its 1.37am in london so i dont want to scare anyone else and ask to go to hospital. What shall i do? Any advice? Thank you
