Swollen Ankles - When did you experience them?

What activities did you notice caused swollen ankles or feet? Also, did you discuss with your doctor?

34.5 weeks with twins and haven't swelled once!   I drink a TON of water though daily!

I swelled once for 3 days this past weekend after an 8hr car ride, swelling went down after I was home & rested.

I'm 33 weeks and have yet to experience any swelling. I was told to watch my sodium intake and drink at least 2 liters of water per day.

I'm 33 weeks 1 day and my cankles are out of control! It's been really hot this week and I've been drinking a little less water, but this is out of control! And uncomfortable!

With my first, about 20 weeks and they pretty much stayed swollen. Even after I had him it was a while before my feet went back to normal. I was running my own store in a mall location. So I sat when I could... But was on my feet a lot.

So far with #2 & 3 I didn't/haven't had it. I am almost 29 weeks with #3.

One suggestion is compression socks...
