Do progesterone supplements make you more or less fertile?

I was prescribed progesterone supplements as a diagnostic aid but I was curious if it'll have any effect on my fertility while taking the supplements.

From what I understand, progesterone helps the baby stick. Helps prevent the body aborting the baby. Not sure about actual fertility.
I was put on it only after we got a positive pregnancy result around 5 weeks. Am still on it in my 26th week.
