I've just been diagnosed with preeclampsia
I'm 27+2 and had a horrendous headache for two days and started seeing spots. Checked my bp and it was 180/120 so I went to the OB emergency and they did some labs which showed elevated creatinine/protein ratio over twice what it should be.
I'll be induced at 37w0d if everything stays where it's at and earlier if it goes south.
They sent me home to do a 24 hour urine.
I'm a labor and delivery nurse and went to the hospital where I work.
I'm pretty upset by this diagnosis but glad I caught it and caught it early. They'll be following me closely now.
