Flutters vs. Movement/kicking??

Question

I'm a FTM and I'm 16w2d. I've heard that you don't really feel movement so early when it's your first baby, but my question is what is the difference because a flutter and a full on movement or kick? Or is it all the same thing, just that the baby is different sizes? I'm curious because I'm feeling something that I know isn't just gas.

Flutters literally feel like tiny little taps inside your belly, like butterlies lol. I felt mine at 17 weeks.. they gradually get stronger and you start to see your belly move with the flutters. I am now 34 weeks and how i miss those tiny kicks lol when you get the real kicks, you will know trust me. I see her foot and hands poking and pressing my belly up as she stretches in all directions, including onto my bladder and up under my ribs. Enjoy the cute kicks while it lasts, because it soon becomes a little less cute lol

I have flutters and for me it feels like a little poking or popping from the inside. As baby has gotten bigger I can feel a rolling sensation. I have not had any definite kicks yet. I started feeling flutters around 20 weeks and now I'm 21 weeks. Ftm as well.

I felt my first fllutters at 16 weeks and to me they felt like little pitter patters on my lower belly, once i hit around 18 i felt my first kick... It definately different to flutters and it will probably catch you off guard where as flutters feel tiny and little... well thats how it was for me... I feel full on kicks now and i can tell you i miss feeling just flutters...

I felt kicks at 16 weeks, like actual kicks. I felt flutters at 12w. First pregnancy as well
