Sex to Jumpstart AF

Normally if I want to get AF started a day early I just have sex with my bf and Viola... either that day or the next it comes. AF was due today but is a no show... I felt it coming all week so I had sex with him yesterday and now nothing...no cramps no spotting... no nothing... could sex also make it late?
