What brand of diapers & wipes are the best and why?

I'm pregnant with our 7th child. Pampers swaddlers are best at first to me and then Huggies from then on out. Luvs SMELL incredible but do not fit well and leak fast. As for wipes, I prefer Huggies.

*To be completely honest, tho- MOST store brands (wipes AND dipes) are pretty good. I use them as well. (Target, Costco, Wal-Mart, etc...)

**This is just MY preference. Everyone and especially every baby is different so you may want to check samples and not stock up too much until you find what YOU like best. Maybe ask for gift cards at shower in place of actual diapers or wipes and just have enough of an assortment on hand for about 2 weeks. By then, you'll know what you like and can get out to get them comfortably.

For my daughter- it was Huggies 100% but we have had so many leaks with my DS on the Huggies. But pampers has been great for him. Also, I love the water wipes!!

I've got a big baby and I've found for us Pampers works the best. Huggies at a close second. Luvs he's been leaking through and the walmart store brand is horrible, he would go through so many in one day. As far as wipes, I get the walmart store brand. A 3 pack is like $5.

I'm a ftm and I'm gonna use Huggies. My mom spoke very highly of them. Luvs leak really easily from what I've seen while nannying. And pampers work well from what I've seen just very expensive. My mom also said that store brand diapers and wipes work really well once baby is a little older

I like Pampers the first month, & after that I always switch to Huggies Snug & Dry. But best wipes are def the Pampers... why? Bc Pampers fit better but they don't last as long.
