Mirena IUD

Hi everyone! I have been on the pill for a number of years, and recently my doctor recommended the Mirena IUD to me. I've never been pregnant, but it seems like it is a perfect fit for my lifestyle. I also like that it only has one active hormone as oppposed to most bc pills. Does anyone have any advice, info, or opinions on YOUR IUD? I am trying to find out some more info before I go with it. Thanks!
