Heart Beat?

My doctor won't give an official due date until she hears a heart beat. Just wondering how far along that is? She says I am about 5 weeks now.

When I went it for my first check up after I took a home pregnancy test. They did a v ultra sound and I was 6 weeks 4 days they herd a heartbeat.

I heard My baby's heartbeat at 6w6d but that was only because I went to the ER for really bad bleeding. My first prenatal appointment wasn't until I was 8w5d. You should be able to hear it by then.

I didn't have my first prenatal care appointment until 9weeks, and through vaginal ultrasound they could hear the heart beat and see baby clearly by that point.

Usually around 7-8 weeks if your cycle is on time. At 6.5 weeks my baby didn't have a heartbeat yet but was born healthy 2 months ago.

You count from the first day of your last period and that will tell you how far along you are.  At your first appointment - if they do an ultrasound that date may change if you ovulated any day other than day 14 of your cycle as baby may measure bigger or smaller accordingly.
