My dog of 13 years died unexpectedly on Saturday. I have 3 kids and she was mine long before I was married with kids, through all the best and hardest times of my life. Though she had her basic needs met and was cared for, food water baths exercise etc, I regretfully often neglected her affection/attention wise lately with a new baby. She had no signs of major health issues, so even though she was old it was a shock and I am devastated. In honor of my first baby, my sweet little 9 pounds of big personality Zoie, please give your fur babies a little extra hugs and kisses tonight, no matter how busy you may be with your new human baby. xoxo
