I had my first stretch and sweep today! I'm 40 weeks + 3 days. My midwife told me that I'm already 3 centimetres dilated. She could feel the babies head and that he has hair! She reckons that this stretch and sweep will start something I'll go into labour by next Tuesday! Praying something happens by the end of this week. I'm getting the odd cramping feeling a lot more now that I've had my stretch and sweep done. Has anybody else had a stretch and sweep and did it work for you? 😌
