So my husband has a cousin with CF, And the gene obviously runs in his family. In order for a baby to have CF both parents have to carry the gene. My appointment is October 25th and they are testing me for it. Has anyone had this done before? If so, how much blood is taken? I don't do well with getting my blood drawn or even needles. I just want to know how much they take usually. TIA.
