When did people start buying things on your registry after you gave them the invitations?

A week before my shower it seemed like very little was bought. Then things started getting taken off the registry, but from the way it looked I was worried that there would only be like 10 people there.

Let me tell you, that was not the case. I think there was something like 35 guests and I can't even begin to describe the generosity of those wonderful women. We got almost every single thing we need. A lot was bought off registry - for instance, the burp cloths on our registry were not bought but we got plenty of burp cloths. Tons of clothes, basically all of the bigger ticket items, and so much more o never even thought to register for. With a few exceptions, this baby is SET.

So my advice to you is to not sweat the registry. People come through in a way that you can't even imagine.

People have been buying us things off the registry since before we even gave out invites.

People started buying things off my registry as soon as I have my sister the link.  Then a week later,  I was told to go find bigger items to add to my registry.

Almost immediately. I think it depends on where you registered. We used target and babylist, and I had people buying off both right away. We also don't know the gender, and I honestly think that kept people on my registry stuff rather than buying outfits and boy/girl stuff. The only thing we have left to get is our car seat after the shower. People bought up to the day of, and honestly most was of it was bought the week of. Enjoy your shower!
