Has anyone had to have a heart monitor?

I had an abnormal EKG and my heart rate is consistently in the high 150's. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. If so, can you share your story?

I had a heart monitor ordered because my resting heart rate was 150-160 and I had shortness of breath/labored breathing. I ended up finding out that it was from an anti nausea medicine I was allergic to. When I stopped the medication all symptoms went away and they canceled the order for the heart monitor.
