Bring your own gown for delivery?!

So I had no idea this was a thing but it makes sense . Did any of you mamas bring your own gown (or big t-shirt!) to labor in?  I don't mean for after birth, I mean to actually labor in (assuming you didn't go au naturel lol) Whatd you wear??

Having a baby is really messy, everything is wet with various liquids- not to mention your own sweat, tears, vomit... Whatever else. I'm not bringing my own gown, then storing the nasty thing for the rest of my hospital stay. I'll just mess all over theirs, shower, then put on my own pretty stuff.

I wore a nursing bra and hospital gown. When I actually gave birth I just had a bra on my gown was a hot mess by then lol.

My hospital won't let you wear anything but a bra and hospital gown. After you can wear the gown but not during in case they had an emergency.

There are gowns you can buy to labor in, but the ones I've seen seem very expensive. I wouldn't want to spend that much on something I'm going to get various bodily fluids all over. I have thought about getting a lightweight robe that I can wear after the baby is born.
