Vaccinations? how do you ladies feel?

A mother I follow on social media posted this photo stating she is anti vaccine. What do you ladies think??

I'll bite. Simply put, unvaccinated children are a danger to other unvaccinated children. Some people can't receive vaccines due to allergies and those are the people who rely on herd immunity. Herd immunity doesn't work if other people who have no health reason not to be vaccinated aren't vaccinated.

I don't think they're a threat to kids who are vaccinated but they are to children who actually can't be vaccinated.

I'm pro vaccine.  Now you absolutely have to vaccinate your kids to put them in public school.

Sigh. Easy. Whomever posted this picture you found doesn't understand that no vaccine is 100%  effective. Close, but not perfect. Vaccines GREATLY reduce the RISK of a child contacting something.

All of these cute newborn babies we will be popping out will be too young for a lot of vaccines. They will have to rely on those around them to be immunized so that they don't contract diseases that they are too little to fight.  Whooping cough, measles, mumps,  these are all things that babies catch all the time because they are too little to be vaccinated and some grown-up anti vaxxer came over to look at your cute baby.  Herd immunity is a powerful thing people.

They aren't a danger I vaccinated kids... they are a danger to seniors, people with weakened immune systems (caused by certain drugs or auto immune disorders) newborns, or people that can't have vaccines, or people undergoing invasive medical procedures who will have weakened immune systems. She needs to think through her logic a little more. Vaccines are a benefit and a modern development that has allowed society to flourish. When was the last time an epidemic or plague wiped out thousands of people at once?
