Anyone had their wisdom teeth removed while pregnant?

I'm 25w and my wisdom teeth are killing me,  still waiting on drs approval so I can go to the dentist but meanwhile I can't even eat due to the pain, I been taking tylenol and putting ice bags but it doesn't seem to ease the pain at all 😒😔😭 anyone had this problem before?  If so what can I do

I had to wait until after the birth. They cant do x rays or give you pain killers strong enough

I had to have jaw surgery in my second trimester due to a previous bike accident. The doc can't give you any sort of pain killers or nitrous; the only pain relief is local anesthetic.

If you can wait until after you deliver, I definitely would. I hate the dentist, and that surgery was a terrible five hours.

I heard you cannot get your wisdom teeth removed while pregnant. I am waiting to have my little one in November and this pregnancy has caused my wisdom teeth to grow in and it's painful, and I don't have any room for them to grow in fully. I believe it's something about the painkillers and anaesthesia that we arent allowed to consume while pregnant. But I could be wrong.

I had mine removed at 26 weeks pregnant.. only obligation.. I had to be awake through it and couldn't have anything but Tylenol and Benadryl after it. I was in so much pain like you so I agreed to it.

I dont know what their policies are, but no way was I able to cope without codeine painkillers, which i dont think are safe when pregnant. Also, i had to have my gums cut to remove two of them, which got stitched up afterwards and were fine - but the other two were left to heal as is, and you get a rotting smell and taste as they heal, i dont think i could deal with that while preggers.
Your probably better off waiting, but ask the dentist if they'd do it while your pregnant.
