Could my 2 month old be teething? 😮

My son will be 9 weeks old on monday, and he has been an absolute nightmare for like a week now. He is drooling a lot too. And he refuses to finish his bottles, even though he is clearly hungry. He is always crying, except when he is asleep. Could he be teethong? I cant think of anything esle that might cause this. He is such a calm, happy baby usually...

That's what I thought! But then I read that my daughter, who was 2 months at the time, should only be awake for an hour. (She was up for 4-5 hours sometimes! 😳😐) I literally had to start "putting" her to bed for more naps, which she's not a fan of. The drooling has continued and she tries to eat her fist constantly, but when I'm "making" her sleep, the fussiness has made huge progress - it's almost non existent now.

Probably not teething. Sounds like they are over tired. Try watching the clock and only having them awake for 1-2 hrs. You want to get them down for a nap before they start crying. Try reading either On Becoming Baby Wise or Healthy Sleep habits Happy Baby.

He is awake for 3-4, sometimes up to 6 hours during the day. I'll try to put him down to nap more often, I hope it'll help.
