Blood work

Just got my blood work back from the OB. I requested diabetes and thyroid tests because thyroid runs in the family and I just wanted to be sure with my weight that possible diabetes wasnt a factor in my MMC. They did a whole bunch of tests and found everything to be normal. The pathology for the fetus came back with nothing unexpected so a chromosomal abnormality was the most likely cause of demise and we aren't expected to have a risk than anyone else in future pregnancy. I took a hpt today just to see if the levels were low enough for a period to start soon and it was 100% negative. So now we wait and try again. I'm sad but relieved. As scary and devastating as this whole experience has been I'm so glad that we at least got a little closure.
