Baby won't sleep anywhere but with me

After reading that infants aren't capable of forming "bad habits" until 9 months, I started letting my son sleep in bed with me instead of in the bassinet next to the bed. It was super easy for night time feedings and nice to have a snuggle buddy since my fiance works second shift. Now he'll only sleep with me at night AND now for naps. Even when he's fallen fast asleep and I move him to the bassinet or his swing so I can shower or do chores, he'll immediately wake up. He's only 7 weeks so I can't just let him cry it out. Any suggestions or do I just suck it up?
