How do you handle projectile spit up?

I'm confused about how to best comfort my newborn after she projectile spit ups/vomits.  If you have any ideas that have even only worked once, lets hear em

LO doesn't seem at all phased when he spits up or vomits (the one time that happened). I just wait until he expresses he's hungry again. I always expect he'll be hungry sooner after that but he never has been.

Have you called your pediatrician? I was worried about the amount mine was spitting up, and she mentioned not to worry unless it was actual vomiting (she said vomiting would seem forceful vs spitup jut kinda comes up and it doesn't phase them).
Just maybe give them a call just in case (but this is coming from a very nervous FTM, so just do what you feel is right!). Good luck
