Do your kids call you by your first name?

Do your kids call you by your first name? It doesn't matter if they are adults or not.

I put "Yes-My step children" because I know many stepchildren do not call their step parent "mom or dad".

My son is almost two and when he wants my attention he calls me Nikki. He thinks it's funny

My 6yr old neice calls her parents by their first names when she's mad at them and my SIL lets her because she doesn't want to upset her more. She is also a spoiled diva. My daughter would be in so much trouble if she ever tried to call us by our first names!!

I call my mum by her first nsme if we are in a crowd and she doesn't answer to mum after several attempts.  My in laws do call their mum by her first name sometimes though, and of course I call my mother in law by her name

My name would have busted me in the teeth if I called her Becky. I call my parents Mom and Dad and my step dad is Papa Dave (that's why my nephews call him) and he has been in my life since was 1.

I find it so disrespectful when parents let their children call them by their first names!!! I get it when your the step or adoptive parent but no biological child should be calling their parent by their first name! My kids are actually adopted but they call me momma, mom, mommy. They made the choice, but now, years later I expect them to not use my first name. I only refer to my mom by her first name in crowded places when she doesn't respond to mom or grandma.

So I called my mother Ma to her face and Momma when referring to her toother people.

But recently I started calling her Linda. Her first name is Gabrielle though. I call her Linda cause of the YouTube video.

My SD calls me Ashley. My kids call my husband (their step dad) Dad. My biological kids call me Mom.

We once got separated from our child in a store, he did the right thing and went to an employee, he didn't know our names. So we begun telling him our actual names, which lead to him finding it amusing to call us by them. Since it's our names and not bad words we allowed it and soon he went back to mom and dad. All of our other children so far have gone through this phase.
