Going to be induced at 37weeks 😳
This is my first baby and she is due 9th November. She has been measuring small so ive had growth scans every two weeks - this weeks one i was told by the consultant that she wants to induce me at 37weeks and has scheduled me in to do so!! 😳
Excited, scared... all the emotions! Thinking ive still got about 5weeks to go to now less than 2! She is only weighing 4.9lb at the moment when at this stage she should be 5.5lb so im going to have a petite baby!Â
My nesting mode seems to have kicked in over night too! Haha! Bleaching, scrubbing, hoovering everything!Â
UPDATE:
Sorry the reason they have told me they are inducing early is that as the placenta matures it slows down working so she wont be putting on much more whereas if they get her out they can start helping bringing her weight up. She is absolutely fine as far as ive been told but on the growth scan she is slowly going downwards to where she should be - she is below the 10 percentile (whatever that means!)Â
