Sorry kind of a long rant. My MIL smokes, she only smokes outside that I am aware of. I'm pretty sure she smokes in her car too when no one is in it with her. My son is 3 Weeks old and was born at 36 weeks. MIL came over to visit and wreaked of cigarettes. She held my son and the moment she left I had to change his clothes that I had JUST put him in a minute before she came over and held him. I don't want him to be around that all day or even a few hours.

She was trying to get me to let her watch him already (im EBF right now so it gives me an out), but when I go back to work she will want to watch him and we will never hear the end of it if we tell her no. He goes to the Dr for a checkup Thursday so I was going to ask her what she thought so I had medical advice to back me up. My husband is on my side, but also doesn't want to hurt his mom's feelings. Anyone else have to deal with this? If so how did you and how did it turn out?
