Experience please!

So! I am a tattoo virgin. My ultimate goal is to get my whole back done. But before I do that, I obviously want to get some smaller works done just to see if I'd even be able to handle getting such a big piece. My pain tolerance is very high, so I can handle a lot, and I know I'd have to get it (back piece) in multiple sessions. I already know what I'd do for both the small and large tattoos, but I would like to know about your back pieces! Let me see them! How much did it hurt? I know everyone is different, but I'd like to hear (or read) your stories and experiences! Pictures are welcome! Thanks!
