Spotting and gender?

Question

While talking to a few close friends I have found a trend that the friends who spotted had girls and those who didn't had boys I wanted to see if this was true for a larger group of people just for fun :)

I didn't have spotting at all with either boy or girl.

I didn't spot with my son, but did with this little girl! Although it wasn't really spotting, implantation bleeding.

Whoa this is wierd! I spotted with my first (girl) but not with this pregnancy (boy) 😳 mind officialy blown!

I was told the same thing! With my son, I didn't have any type of spotting or bleeding. With baby #2, I have had moderate bleeding and spotting off and on. I'm 12 weeks pregnant and will have my gender scan on May 7th. I can't wait to find out if this is true!
