I was sexually assaulted early July and ended up pregnant. I had a surgical abortion to terminate the pregnancy on the 31st of August and right after had the copper IUD placed in. With the exception of a couple weeks of bleeding after the abortion I have not had a period yet. I have had some light spotting for a day but then it goes away. I am starting to become really concerned and would love someone else's input on whether or not this is a common problem with the IUD or if something else's wrong. Please not hate on my decision as I was the best thing for me to do for my own health. Thank you.
