Will you bring a pacifier with you to the hospital??!!!?

I'm hearing different stories on this. Any suggestions for a FTM 
36 weeks & getting hospital bag together. 
My sister was in the hospital and had her first baby and was "breastfeeding" for 6 hrs and the lactation consultant told her that the baby was using her as a PACIFIER! So I just wanna know....should I pack one?

I voted no only because the hospital provided one with all of my previous babies. I didn't end up using them, but if you wanted to try one the hospital will have one there to give.

i am packing a pacifier because i use a certain brand and the doctor said it was ok to bring my own. i am also EP so the bottles i'm using will match the pacifier nipple.

I'll bring one but I hope not to use it. I was told it's ideal that if you're breastfeeding to avoid pacifiers and bottles for the first month - and I'd like to give myself the best possible chance to successfully breastfeed. That said, I'm a ftm and baby will be rooming in so I'll bring it in case of "emergency."

I am not in the US but pacifiers are not allowed at the hospital.

I will be the baby's pacifier. The breast feeding classes and things I've read said a pacifier shouldn't be introduced right away

I think they should be allowed to use the real deal whether it "as a pacifier" or for nursing. Get them used to the real deal first.

No because my lactation consultant suggests no pacifiers or bottles for the first month for the best breastfeeding success. Not going to judge those who use them though and who know i might break down one day and use it before 1 month lol

The hospital gave both my babies pacificers when they were taken to the nursery even tho I was BF

I was told my baby shouldn't have a pacifier until he is atleast 4 weeks old. Since I am breastfeeding.
