Nov buddies, anyone with GD?

I have GD and i wanted to know how its going for all those with GD. my after dinner numbers are getting bad these days.

Me too! I'm 37 weeks, and the numbers are getting more challenging to keep in range.

Doing great.  Helps to drink a lot of water and walk around a bit.  Still does not change that I am constantly measuring ahead.

I have it and I'm over it. I'm on bedtime insulin because my fasting numbers were 2 points over what the dietitian wanted them.

I'm constantly starving and now my OB is getting on to me because I'm loosing weight

I've been dealing with GD for the last 6 weeks or so

I'm now insulin dependent 4 times a day and my numbers are finally under control. I take my diet restrictions very seriously and do my best because that's what my baby deserves.

They are inducing me 3 weeks early due to my GD.

I got the news almost 3 weeks ago that I have GD and I'm STILL waiting to hear from the dietician!  Diabetes runs in my family and my mom is on insulin, so I know what I have to do and how my diet should be, but I still don't have the meter to test my blood sugars because I haven't gotten a call from the dietician.  I'm going to my family doctor tomorrow and asking for him to write me a script for the meter so I can at least get that and start tracking my levels.  So far i've cut out anything white (bread, pasta, starchy foods), and focus on protein.

I have it to. When I was diagnosed I changed my diet to a plant based diet taking all meat & dairy out. I've had great numbers. I have the forks over knives & forks over knives family that I'm getting my recipes from.

I have it and I'm doing ok. I'm basically riding the borderline for what's acceptable with a few high days here and there. I've cut a lot of sugar out and upped my water intake (which is super hard for me) but I still pretty much enjoy what I want and when. If I have a high number I make a note of what I had that may have caused it and I'll avoid those things and then try them a few days later individually paired with something else to pin point the problem. My only problem is I'm gonna eat when I'm hungry I'm not gonna starve myself for a good number like they want me too. My morning sickness is coming back lately and if I can I want to keep as much in me as possible.

My fasting levels were ridiculous at first but now I'm on insulin and everything is better. I have a few highs during the day once and a great while. But I'm so eager for this to be done! I can't be the only one who hates being on a controlled timely diet.

I've got it,  I'm able to keep my numbers with in range,  every now and then one creeps a little high,  so I try to cut some carbs at the next meal.  I was put on the pill at dinner time because my fasting numbers were always a little high,  around 100-110.
