Rolling and sleep

My little man recently started rolling from back to belly. He can also roll from belly to back. He is constantly rolling onto his belly and then fussing about it. I know he remembers how to roll back because he rolled all the way across the floor in his nursery last night. He does the same thing when it's nap time or bedtime. I put him down in the pack n play and he just starts fussing and rolling. And then fusses more because he's tired but he can't stop rolling over. I know when they learn something new they like to do it constantly but is there anything I can do to help him get through this phase?
