What day to take Clomid

Question

My doctor told me to take Clomid on the third day of my period, however I have a hard time gauging when it truly started. My period has always been light, less than 3 days even when on birth control. Will it really mess things up if I take it a day late?

I was told to take my CD 5-9 and I wasn't sure if  AF was starting or not either. It was super light and then seemed to go away (however it didn't). I called my doctor & they told me the first day of bleeding (any bleeding) counts as CD 1. Hope that helps! Good luck to you!

I would check with your doctor. Mine doesn't have me start until day 5, so it should still work.
