This is going to be a little tmi..

I've had IBS C all my life so I've been on laxatives for years. I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant and I haven't pooped in 3 weeks. I would normally take a strong laxative, but I can't. I'm going to the doctor for a soapsuds enema tomorrow. I've tried enemas at home and they didn't help at all. I'm really worried and super uncomfortable. What will they do if the enema doesn't work? I've tried everything else my OB and gastro doctor has suggested with no luck. Right now I'm really nauseous and I have a really bad headache and I'm freaking out. Does anyone know what I can expect to happen? Please help ease my nerves. I'm making myself even sicker 😞
