Stripping membranes??

Question

I am dilated 4 cm and 70%effaced. I'm getting my membranes stripped tomorrow and curious what to expect. Will I go into labor over the weekend? I've already been cramping, nauseas ECT. But idk if those play a part.

You have a 50/50 chance. I had my membranes stripped twice and still didn't go into labor. Had to be induced. But your luck could totally be better! Good luck if it does happen though. I was also 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced when I first got it done.

I got mine stripped when I was dilated to a 4 and 70% effaced and I started having contractions an hour after I had it done. Up until then I hadn't had any contractions.

It's uncomfortable, but not terrible. I wasb around 3 cm and 50%, a little crampy after and had some light bleeding/lost my mucous plug. It didn't work for me though, and I was induced a few days later. Worth a shot!!

I went in on the third to get them stripped and I was 3 cm and 80% effaced. I had her Wednesday afternoon

I was 4 cm had the sweep on the 4th. Had contractions the next day. And had my son on the 6th at 6 in the morning
