first trimester scan gender reveal?

I have my first trimester scan tomorrow! At my 10 week appointment with my OB GYN she said they might be able to tell me the gender tomorrow?! I'll be 12 weeks 3 days tomorrow. How many people were told the gender of their baby at this scan and how accurate is it?! 
UPDATE: BOY 💙💙💙💙 90% accurate. They'll confirm it in 3 weeks thanks for all your input!

I wouldn't trust a 12 week ultrasound, but that's just me. We had our boy's at 16 weeks and it was obvious. I was actually surprised. My doctor just said there was an open ultrasound room for a few more minutes if I wanted to find out that day. Of course I agreed. We were/are so excited. I hope you can find out soon though!

From an ultrasound? I wouldn't trust it. A baby's sex isn't even fully formed until like 13-14 weeks. Even then I would wait until the 20 week anatomy scan. Unless they're finding out from the blood test.

I found out at 12 weeks with an ultrasound. My little guy gave us the perfect potty shot and there was no mistaking his whatnotz. Lol. Good luck! 💙

It'll definitely be fun to see! I just wouldn't bank on anything unless your doctor and tech are 100% sure of the sex, it's just so tricky to determine so early. Good luck, I hope you get a good shot!
