Hymens can rupture for many reasons that are not sex related including sports like horseback riding, bike riding etc, some rupture without cause etc. Virginity can be defined however you want. Generally speaking is defined by penetration of the vagina with a penis but that description completely excludes many other forms of sex and sexual orientations.

Your hymen has nothing to do with your virginity. You can lose your hymen doing many different things. Having penetrative sex is what defines losing your virginity
