Is Dating Someone Older a Bad Thing

Ok, last November I had met this amazing guy at work, he is ten years older than me and has a four year old son. From then until now he has treated me with so much respect and is easily everything I could want in a man. His son is the sweetest thing ever, I've met and seen him three times now and really enjoy being around them both. But, does anyone think it is weird to date someone older with a kid? I absolutely adore and care for the man but just wanted some opinions. Would it be awkward to introduce someone older to your family? Do you think he would have different views on marriage and having a family with me? (He has mentioned kids plenty of times to me and says he loves them.) Or, do you think I should quit worrying and just continue to be happy with him and not worry about the age gap?
