period issues

I got my first period last month. (Finished Breastfeeding in August) now I'm a week late for my period. I've taken a couple pregnancy test and all have been negative yet still have pregency symptoms. Anyone else have this happen? Think it's just my body not in check yet? (I was also ontime before baby) thoughts?
