The veins are called vulvar varacosities. About 10% of pregnant women get them but no one talks about them cuz it's a little embarrassing. If it's causing you pain, check out the V2 supporter on Amazon. It's basically compression for your lady bits and it is a life saver! It's normal. Not only is fat (even if you're skinny) being pushed up and out but your body is storing more fat for baby and you have increased blood flow and pressure down there. It will feel "fatty" swollen and different until baby is born.
