I just watched. This documentary was incredibly sad, but informative. PLEASE WATCH. It really pissed me off how the police/sheriff or whoever he was in Daisy's case basically victim blamed the girls and said men are always looked at as responsible when the girls are to....Daisy was raped when unconscious..he BAC was 134.9 and the sheriff couldn't answer whether it was "rape" because she was unconscious because it was a "legal" question and he said people like to throw the word "rape" around...

It's Audrie, not Aubrie.

I know Daisy Coleman's story and it got fishy. I'm not going to lie. I go to school in the same town she used to live in. I know the person she lived across the street from and I know many people who went I school with her. Her case gained international popularity and the town was crazy. There were people trying to hack the high schools email server, and my colleges email server. Anonymous came and a whole bunch of newscasters came. I heard conflicting things from people who actually were around when the rape actually happened. Her life was torn apart and the school was choosing sides on who was the "bad" person. I have yet to watch it, mainly because I want to avoid all the drama that came about it 2 years ago now. It was an intense time on campus and I'm honestly surprised it has been again.

She was raped and I would imagine Audrie was too. Lets just remember to show respect to them. Daisy almost died that night. It gets REALLY cold where I live, colder than the surrounding areas,  and she was basically left for dead. The football players were basically let off until 2 years ago now. It's sick what family power can do in a small town.

It made me so sad the way the system works when it comes to sexual assault. I don't think they lied or were in the wrong for being victimized at ages 14 and 15. I always believe someone if they say they were sexually assaulted.
